Christmas Tasting Notes 2022 - Friday 2 December at 7:30pm
A roaring success last year, we’re thrilled to launch our second in person Christmas Tasting Notes, live from the City in London, with live singing from Ferrier Award-winning soprano Jessica Cale, accompanied by George Ireland, on Friday 2 December, 2022 from 7:30pm.
Over 300 people joined us for online Tasting Notes evenings across 2020 & 2021 and we hope that you will join us for an evening of wine tasting featuring two exceptional whites and two gorgeous reds, hand selected by Dominic as the perfect wines for Christmas from eclectic wine makers across the globe.
We’ll cover the basics of tasting and what to look for when buying wine for Christmas whether you’re eating turkey, goose, aubergine or something more exotic. Jess, accompanied on the piano by George, will delight us with live music in between tasting each wine in the relaxed atmosphere of the grand hall of St Botolph-without-Bishopsgate.
The evening commences at 7:30pm with a glass of vintage bubbles upon arrival. Tickets are £75 per person (£65 early bird tickets are available until the week before the event) which includes vintage fizz, a led tasting of all four wines, grazing food platters and a live, immersive recital performance by our Ferrier winning duo. The perfect way to learn how to taste wine, enjoy five spectacular glasses, and get into the Christmas mood, we hope you will join us and bring your friends and family, too!
